It's hard to believe the first month of 2018 is already over! I usually hate the month of January, because it's so blah with the holidays ending, and it's so long and cold. This year, however, I didn't have many complaints! It was actually a happy, fun, cozy month!
"Memory is a way of holding on to the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose."
Here are the moments that made January so special:
We rang in the new year with family and friends!
We headed back to school. {BOO!}
We drank LOTS of hot cocoa!
Our Saturday mornings were booked with basketball games.
We celebrated my dad's 78th Birthday!
My husband gave me the sweetest gift, which arrived on the anniversary of the day I received my horse. {I miss him SO much!}
We snuggled up!
We clowned around!
We inched even closer to age 11. {Stop growing up so fast, kids!}
We went sledding! {Some liked it more than others.}
We had dinner with friends.
We just hung around...
We TRIED to work!
We played with new toys!
We snuggled old friends.
We rocked each and every day. {Romper from Trendy Bubs! Use code liamff to save 20% on your order at checkout!}
We had a sleep study. {Which he passed!!!}
We went to an ice skating birthday party...in the rain...and Lily learned how to skate!
We went on a snowy hike.
And the month came to a quiet, but sweet, end.
These are my moments. They are the moments worth living for. And they are the moments that count! When I add up all the moments, the dreaded month of January was PERFECTION!
