The Kids Behind the Blog Christmas Edition + Ornament Exchange

The month of December is flying by! I can hardly believe there are less than two weeks until Christmas!

Although this mama is struggling to get all the things done in time, my kids are overly excited about the upcoming holiday. So for this month's interview, it's all about Christmas!

The KIDS behind the blog

DYLAN

1. Which reindeer is your favorite?  "Rudolph!"
2. What do you want for Christmas?  "Legos."
3. What would you do if you caught Santa at your house?  "HAHA!" (Gives me a knowing look.) " I would tickle him!"
4. What if Santa got stuck in your chimney?  "I would hit him with a broom!"
5. Do you want it to snow on Christmas? Why or why not? "No! Because I don't like snow!"
6. Have you been naughty or nice this year? Why? "Both. Because I've been nice and I've been mean."
7. If Santa asked you to fly in his sleigh, would you do it? "Yeah!"
8. What is your favorite Christmas movie? "Christmas Vacation."
9. If you could change the color of Rudolph's nose what color would you make it? "Blue!"
10. Sing me one Christmas Carol. (He opted to play something he recently taught himself on violin. He just started playing in October and they just started using the bow in lessons.)

6. Have you been naughty or nice this year? Why? "I've been both. I've been good this year because I gave Lily some of my candy and let her play with my bunny even though I didn't want her to and I was naughty because I would pull Dylan's hair."
7. If Santa asked you to fly in his sleigh, would you do it? "NO! I'm sorry but I cannot do that. I don't know how to control that magical thing."
8. What is your favorite Christmas movie? "OOOOO, that's a good one! I have to say that would be Christmas Story."
9. If you could change the color of Rudolph's nose what color would you make it? "Yellow! I LOVE that color!"
10. Sing me one Christmas Carol. (My only child who cooperated with this one! And I love her mixup at the beginning...a reindeer named Connor! ;))

That's a wrap for their Christmas Interviews, but that's not all the holiday fun for this post!

ORNAMENT EXCHANGE

I was so excited to sign up for an ornament exchange with some of my favorite bloggers! I was paired with Elizabeth from Chasin' Mason. I had so much fun choosing an ornament for her and I was absolutely thrilled with the ornament I received!

002

Elizabeth found out that my favorite Disney movie was Beauty and the Beast and she chose the perfect ornament to represent that! It now has a special place on my Christmas Tree. Thank you so much, Liz!

Christmas is rapidly approaching and the New Year is SO close. I wish I could slow down time so the holiday season didn't feel so rushed. I'm going to do my best to slow down and enjoy each joyful moment. Here's to a happy and festive December!

  10. I love their answers. And I LOVE the Christmas Vacation movie. It's one of our favorites too. Every kid seems to want Hatchimals and I had no clue what they were until someone did a post on them and saw that some places sold them for $200 to $300 on ebay. Ugh. Love the ornament you received. It is beautiful and just perfect.
