Although we did some work on our kitchen 5+ years ago, we haven't updated any of our kitchen appliances. All the major appliances are over 12 years old, and we're reaching the point where we really need to purchase new ones.
Our refrigerator isn't going to last too much longer, so I've been researching options. After spotting one in particular, all I have to say is this...

It's a #BlackStainless beauty! I was never a big fan of stainless steel. A lot of the accents in my kitchen are black, and I thought the traditional stainless steel would look too clinical. Call me naive, but I didn't even know Black Stainless Steel was an option!
This fridge, though..it's dreamy! Not only is it dreamy, but it's also extremely functional. As a mom, I love the fact that it is fingerprint resistant (we currently have SO many of those on our fridge) and the fact that the black finish is magnetic! Having a fridge that isn't adorned with all the masterpieces my children create just wouldn't be the same!
Additionally, it has adjustable shelving in all 4 sections, super bright LED lighting, and the bottom right door can easily change from freezer to fridge!
Currently, my kitchen is red. I absolutely love it, and have no plans to change it. We also have ample cabinet space, but the cabinets need to be refinished. My dream is to replace all the trim and baseboards, paint the cabinets white, and get new counter tops! I would love to put in an island, too, but for now, my "island" is a gigantic play kitchen. A kitchen within a kitchen. Gotta love it! #momlife
My family spends a lot of time in our kitchen. Our table isn't just meant for meals. The kids sit there to play, create projects, and do homework. Our family gathers around the table to dye Easter eggs, carve pumpkins, and bake cookies. We need a simple, open, functional kitchen to keep up with our lifestyle!
This is exactly the look I'm going for, only with my beloved red walls. The beautiful #BlackStainless appliances would just be a major added bonus!
