Wacky Wednesday
Today was Wacky Wednesday at Lexie's preschool! My little fashionista has been looking forward to this day, and was so excited to go to school in her wackiest outfit!

Tuesday Tidbits
Tuesday is my day to remember all the cute and funny things my kids say and do!
{DYLAN}
-He writes several words every night, while doing his homework, to practice his handwriting. Tonight, I chose two words: Mommy and Tired. He looked at the words I wrote, laughed, and asked me, "Is this true? Mommy tired?" Yes. Yes it is.
-He saw a cut on my finger, and told me he would get me a bandaid. When I told him I was okay, he replied. "Okay. I just wanted to ask. I like to take care of you and my sisters." Melting.
{LEXIE}
Lexie is such a funny little girl! I love her sense of humor!
-She tells me everyday, "You're the best mom I ever had!"
-She calls Egyptians "Magyptians."
-She told me some girl wearing high heels was wearing red "hot heels."
-She told me I smelled like "roaf beef."
-While pumping her fists in the air, she shouted, "Yes! This rocks! I don't have school tomorrow AND I get to watch a movie in bed! Yes! This rocks!"
-She called a toy triceratops a "terra-rana-pops."
-She was dressing up her lovey, BunBun, in Barbie clothes. She said, "BunBun looks fabylous!"
-She loves to clean! Tonight, she was cleaning up the kictchen floor with a brush and dustpan. She kept saying, "This job rocks!!!" Until she noticed how dirty the brush was. She had a bit of a meltdown, crying, "This job doesn't rock anymore!!!"

Mealtime with Lily is, well, an adventure!
Yes...that is a foot kicking my camera.
Oh, the cute!!! (Remind me of this when they are teenagers!)

365 Project: Week Nine
{February 26th}
Another Sunday spent at home, recovering from a birthday party! A visit with Grandma. Perfect weather to play outside in!
{February 27th}
The start of another school week. Playdate at the library with my best friend and her boys, after preschool. Dylan's school began to celebrate Read Across America week.
{February 28th}
I babysat all day. Once everybody was home, we went over to our friends' house for dinner. I love spending time with our friends!
{February 29th}
After Lexie got out of school, we visited Grant's family, and then took her to her 5 year checkup. 4 vaccinations later, she left with a clean bill of health. She inherited the tall, skinny gene, just like her big brother! She weighed 38.5 pounds and was 3'8" tall! She was so brave during her shots! She didn't even cry, even though the look in her eyes told me it hurt. Instead, she shrugged and smiled!
{March 1st}
It was our "lazy" day at home! We needed a break from our busy week!
{March 2nd}
Lexie had pajama day at school! She was so excited! Grant, a sleeping Lily, and I had a morning coffee date. After Lexie got out of school, we visited my parents. My mom, the girls, and I went shopping, and then returned to have dinner with my dad. Dylan spent the evening with Grant. He had a great day at school, because he had a field trip to our local library and got his own library card! Once home, the big kids had a sleepover!
{March 3rd}
Our sweet Nugget turned 7 months old! We spent the day at home, getting some stuff done. Dylan's friend, Jack, came over to play and spend the night. We had plans with friends, but due to miscommunication, they thought we were coming to their house, while we thought they were coming to ours! Our evening turned out quieter than expected!

365 Project: Week Eight
{February 19th}
The day after Lexie's birthday party with our family. Lexie and Aubrey woke up from their sleepover and spent the morning playing. Dylan had slept over at my sister's house, so we picked him up, and then stopped to visit Grant's family. The rest of the day was spent at home, recovering from the birthday party excitement!
{February 20th}
Thanks to a day off school for the older kids, we spent the day at home!
{February 21st}
A typical Tuesday. No school for Lexie, and babysitting for me. It didn't end so typically. We got some surprising news that was most likely a blessing in disguise. It was the last full day of Lexie being 4, so we kicked off her birthday celebration with an early present.
{February 22nd}
Our sweet girl turned 5!!! We had a busy, fun day! Lexie had a wonderful birthday!
{February 23rd}
Lexie spent the day caring for her class pet, a stuffed puppy named Steeler. She even took him to her dentist appointment! She was such a good "pet" sitter!
{February 24th}
Every Friday, we visit my parents, but my mom had the flu. It was an unexpected day home for us, after Lexie got out of school! It worked out, though, because I got an early start setting up the house for Lexie's birthday party!
{February 25th}
Lexie's birthday party with our friends! We spent the day preparing for her party. Lexie's cousin, Aubrey, came over to play all day and stay for the party. She decided to spend the night again, too! The party was a great way to conclude all the birthday celebrations!
