I can't wait for this morning to be over. Kindergarten registration is at 10 AM and it's way more stressful than it should be! I filled out all the paperwork and gathered up the required documents, but I'm still worried I'm going to forget something and be turned away. I truly don't remember being this anxious when I registered my two older kids!
Not only will I be driving all over the place before I even make it to registration, but then I have to keep my active toddler happy until our number is called to register. I'm DREADING it, but lots of caffeine (and perhaps a donut) should help!
After that, I'm looking forward to approximately 10 loads of laundry, building a bunk bed, and completely organizing and rearranging a bedroom. Mom life is so glamorous at times!
My weekend isn't going to be very exciting, but here are a few things that I AM excited about:
The Gilmore Girls Revival on Netflix! Gilmore Girls is my favorite show of all time, so I am beyond excited about this. As I sat down to write this post tonight, an awesome article on my homepage caught my eye. Sookie returns!!! I'm so glad. The show just wouldn't be the same without her!
My new Hang-It-Up Key Fob and Zip-Top Organizing Utility Tote. I love love LOVE them! And just in case you missed it, I'm giving away a Sling-Back Bag from Thirty-One HERE.
Mary Jane sneakers from Old Navy for Lily! They are the same material as Crocs. They're really cute and perfect for summer!
Breakfast in "bed" prepared by my incredibly sweet 4 year old. Two days this week, Lily treated me to breakfast in bed. She always gives me a few pieces of fruit, a few raw vegetables, and an Oreo. I adore this kid!
Converse! I am planning on buying my first pair since high school, but I'm having trouble deciding on a color. I love all white but I think that would be a terrible idea! Maybe black or navy?
Strawberry Banana Smoothies from Bolthouse Farms! These smoothies are definitely tied with Salted Caramel Lattes as my favorite. I always drink one right after I run!
Finally, I'll leave you with a daily dose of cuteness! I'm often asked what it's like to have a child with Down syndrome, and it's a tough one to answer. The truth is, most days I forget Liam even has Down syndrome. He really is just like any other two year old. He's just a lot smaller. But on the other hand, he's filled with so much happiness and love, and I can't help but think that his extra chromosome just enhances those amazing characteristics!
What are you loving this week?
