Oh Hey, Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday!!!

Our first week of summer vacation has come to an end.  Although we were all bummed on the last day of school (it was a great year!), the more relaxed mornings and evenings are much appreciated!  I can't say that we're less busy, but we had a great first week of summer!

Here are a few of our favorite things:

{ONE}

Orange is the New Black!  Netflix released season 3 a day early, so guess what we watched tonight?!? #StreamTeam

The beloved Imaginarium Bouncy Horse is back in action! Lily loved this toy, and Liam recently took a liking to it.  Of course, he thinks it's a great teething toy!

Who needs a teething ring?

{THREE}

This pin!  Can all of this be done at my house?!?

Weekly activities with my kids! We have fun and it keeps them busy. Most recently, we made homemade playdough and homemade slime

activities

{FIVE}

We had a bench for many years and it REALLY needed some work.  The thought of sanding and repainting was overwhelming, so we decided to just throw it away.  Then, I had a great idea!  Why not make a "secret garden" reading spot for the kids?  Let me just say...it's a hit!

Instead of throwing away our worn bench, we created a "Secret Garden" reading spot for the kids. Lexie grabbed her pillow, iced tea, and book and made herself comfortable! #letthembelittle #playmatters

{SIX}

Spaghetti Night.  We all love it, but it's best for the baby to eat outside!!!

The summer programs at the library!  We just might have filled up our schedule.  The 3 older kids are participating in the summer reading program, Liam has Storytots on Wednesday morning, Dylan and Lexie have Theater group on Wednesdays, Lily has Storytime on Fridays, and I signed them up for multiple science camps and one day events.  They're going to be busy, but they love it!

Make-a-Craft Wednesday at the library while Dylan and Lexie are at Theater Group. #summertime

  6. Orange is the New Black...yes!! I binge watched the 2nd season so long ago and I've been anxiously waiting for the 3rd! So glad to know it's out. Yaaaaay another day to look forward to around here :) And I've got to get my 3yr old back in the library this summer. Might be hard to do with my not-so-easy-going 8 week old, but somehow we'll get it done :) -Misty

    1. It's such a great show! I'm enjoying season 3 so far!
      Hope you get a chance to go back to the library. I know it's hard with a newborn!

  7. I started watching OITNB last season and fell off the bandwagon. I am horrible at playing catch up on shows. I did like what I saw though. I think I might need to give it another try.
