The Happenings of Week Thirteen

MARCH 26th

Lily and I did some shopping while Lexie was at school. After school, Lexie had storytime at the library.  The rest of the day was spent at home.

MARCH 27th

I picked Lexie up from school, we came home from lunch, then the girls and I went to my 16 week OB appointment.  The baby looked great, and I got more medication to control my morning sickness. On the way home, we made a quick stop at TJ Maxx to get a few things.  That evening, we went to a friend's house for dinner.

MARCH 28th

First day of Spring Break for my big kids!  We were able to sleep in, but I did have to haul all 3 kids to Dylan's school for his parent/teacher conference.  He had another stellar conference, is getting straight A's, and his teacher kept telling me what a good, sweet boy he was.  We headed home, and had brunch together.  The rest of the day was spent doing a LOT of cleaning!  Dylan was grounded from all video games until his room was completely clean, so he worked on it for hours, and finally finished!  That night, all three kids had a sleepover in his room.

MARCH 29th

The kids were off school, so we went to visit my parents.  That evening, my Dad took Dylan and Lexie to Red Lobster for dinner.  Meanwhile, my mom, Lily, and I went shopping and had dinner at Noodles & Company. That evening, Dylan had a sleepover at a friend's house.

The day was spent at home, preparing for Easter.  That evening, we dyed our Easter eggs.

MARCH 31st

Happy Easter!  We had a busy day.  Woke up early so the kids could find their baskets, went to church, then stopped at 4 different family member's homes.  After dinner at my sister's house, Dylan just spent the night there, so he could play with my nephews.

APRIL 1st

It's so hard to believe it's April already!  I met my friend, Amber,  at her house, and we drove together to pick Dylan up, then had lunch at McDonald's.  After lunch, we drove to Pittsburgh so we could take our kids to the Carnegie Science Center.  We got stuck in a lot of traffic due to it being the Pirates opening game, but the kids had fun!  We returned home briefly to let the dog out, then picked my Great-Niece, Aubrey, up for a sleepover.  That evening, we went to Amber's house for dinner.  She's awesome!  She cooked me one of my favorite dinners, including chocolate cupcakes for my birthday!  That evening, Aubrey and Dylan's friend, Jack, slept over.

  2. I love sibling sleepovers, so fun. And with kids there is always lots of cleaning to be done. We did a lot of playing this Spring Break so I have a feeling when the kiddos go to school tomorrow I'll be cleaning solo.
