20 Weeks with Baby #4

It's hard to believe I'm halfway through this pregnancy!

DATE: April 19, 2013

How far along:
20 Weeks!!!

 Due Date:  September 6, 2013

Total Weight Gained:
None.  I should be done losing weight, but I'm not gaining any yet.

How big is baby?  Our sweet pea weighs about 10 1/2 ounces and is about 10 inches long from head to heel.

How baby is growing: Our baby is swallowing more these days and is also producing meconium. From babycenter.com.

Maternity Clothes: I'm still wearing my regular clothes.

Stretch Marks:  None!  I've never had one before, so I'm hoping that trend continues!

Sleep: I sleep well at night, but usually wake up around 5 or 6 AM to pee.  I still get very tired in the afternoon, but I don't have time for naps.

Best Pregnancy Moment of the Week:
Feeling the baby's kicks from the outside!!!

Movement:  Our sweet pea is moving around a lot!  We are able to feel the kicks more often from the outside now.  Like Lily, this baby seems to kick or punch my cervix a lot!

Food Cravings: None.

Food Aversions:
Everything.  The only foods I can tolerate are fruit, vegetables, and cereal.

Morning Sickness:
I still have hyperemesis, and take medication for it.  It should start to ease a bit now, but considering I'm still sick 24/7, I'm probably going to have it until the day I deliver, like I did with my previous 3 pregnancies!  But...only throwing up 1-3 times a day will be a wonderful improvement!

Gender:
It's a surprise! We didn't find out with Dylan, Lexie, and Lily either!

Names: The girl name is chosen, but we still have a huge list of boy names and nothing sounds perfect!

Symptoms: Horrible morning (ALL DAY) sickness, Braxton Hicks contractions, Anemia, exhaustion, headaches/migraines, pulling of the muscles around the uterus,  peeing more frequently, and irritability.  A new symptom this week is severe constipation.  I am miserable!

Exercise: A 2 1/2 mile walk on a very hilly trail on Monday and again on Thursday.  A 20 minute run on the treadmill on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.  The only time I can ignore the nausea is when I exercise!

What I miss: Feeling normal.  I can't remember what it's like to not feel sick!

What I'm looking forward to:
Acquaintances starting to notice that I'm pregnant!
