Diary of a Thankful Day

I am thankful that I got to spend the morning with my sweet boy and his class at their Thanksgiving Feast.  It may have been the earliest I have ever had a turkey dinner (10 AM!), but it was perfect.

I am thankful that my son attends such a wonderful school that believes in parental involvement.

I am thankful for the amazing teacher that Dylan was blessed with this year, who put together this event.  I can only hope that Lexie gets her, too!

I am thankful for my smart, sweet, kind, well-mannered, funny boy who is full of compassion and has an incredible spirit.  I am so proud of him.

I am thankful that I get to spend my afternoons with my girls.  They complete our family and bring a smile to my face every day.  I am thankful for our local library that provides us with a fun, safe, and free place to learn, play, and explore.

I am thankful for beautiful November weather that allows us to happily play at the park with best friends.  I am thankful that my family and I are surrounded by such wonderful friends.

I have to say the picture of Dylan in the "old school" paper bag vest and hat brought a smile to my face. I remember that from my school days and I loved it!

  6. What a sweet post!

I really like Dylan's sweater in the pictures.

Buddy's class didn't have a Thanksgiving feast this year. Instead, he and a few kids that get pulled for advanced stuff made applesauce and they had a read-a-thon. It was nice for them.
