Orchard Fun

This afternoon, we met at Soergel Orchards for our last big playdate of the summer! All of the moms in our blogger/twitter group were able to make it this time!

It has been so much fun watching our babies grow over the past year, and start interacting.  My Lily (just turned 1) is the youngest baby girl and the other Steph's Lily (just turned 2) is the oldest baby girl.  Some of us have older kids around the same age, and our group has expanded a bit over the past few months.  These summer playdates have been so much fun!  I'm really looking forward to watching our kids grow up together!

Next week, Amy, a teacher, is heading back to school, so she won't be able to make it to our almost weekly playdates. We're really going to miss her, so we need to plan some special things she can attend, too!

Today was full of fun and laughs, bumps and bruises, and broken flip-flops (mine!!!)!  But mostly fun!

We attempted to get a picture of all the baby girls!  Some crazy mama was able to get all the babies to look at the camera at the same time!  They have grown so much since we first met!

Sweet Lily was getting hot and tired, but the picture wouldn't be complete without her.

After a few hours, the babies started to get sleepy, so it was time for the playdate to end!  Those playdates were what made this summer so much fun!  I'm going to miss them!

Dylan left with a friend, so the girls and I headed out to run some errands.  First up was Lily's weekly blood draw.  My poor baby was sleeping when they put the needle in her arm, and she jerked awake, popping the needle out.  What an awful way to wake up!  They moved on to the second arm, and she sat perfectly still and silent!  Such a good girl!  I'm going to be so happy when these weekly blood draws are done.

Afterward, we headed to Target and to the pet store.  Once home, we assembled Lily's second birthday gift from us-a princess Cozy Coupe.  She loved it!

Not long after, we joined our friends for dinner and swimming.
