Creativity for Kids Review and Giveaway

*This giveaway is over.  The winner, chosen by random.org, is Kelli W!

My daughter, Lexie, loves to do arts and crafts.  She has quite an artistic streak, and wants to work on a project everyday.  I was thrilled to be given the chance to review craft kits from Creativity for Kids by Faber-Castell!

Lexie was so excited when the box arrived.  We received 3 different craft kits to review:  Mossy Meadows Gnome Garden, Feather Fashions, and Deluxe Glitter Art.  It was like Christmas for my girl!

The first kit she wanted to try out was the Mossy Meadows Gnome Garden.  She had been begging to put it together since the box arrived!

On the box, it says that it includes everything you need and has 40+ pieces.  I was very impressed when I opened the kit and found that it really does! I didn't have to search the house for glue or a paintbrush!

Lexie set to work painting the mushrooms, rocks, and pot.  I did not put down newspaper to work on or put a smock on Lexie, so I was happy when the paint cleaned up easily from the table and Lexie's clothes!

I was impressed with the quality of the gnomes and other pieces.  The roof to the gnome house was easy to assemble, and Lexie had fun gluing leaves and ladybugs to it.

After the paint dried a bit, we filled the pot with the included soil, set up the gnome house and some of the pieces, and then Lexie planted the grass seed.

She covered the seeds with more soil, then watered her garden with the included Garden mister.

She told me that this kit was so much fun.  I agree!  It turned out really cute!

Lexie moved around the pieces all day, and even brought the gnomes to bed with her last night. She is just as enamored with it today!

The next kit that we tried was Feather Fashions.  Lexie is starting Kindergarten next week, and she was excited to make some new hair accessories!

 Photobucket

This kit has everything you need to make 12+  hair accessories.  It came with headbands, hair clips, craft string, fabric flowers, rhinestones, felt backers, hair bands, craft glue, glitter glue, and over 40 feathers!  Once again, this kit included everything.  The only thing I needed was scissors to cut the craft string for the feather extension.

Photobucket

Lexie had a great time putting together the hair accessories!  She made a headband, a hair clip, a feather extension, and a ponytail holder.  I did have to help her with several steps, but it was fun for me, too!

This is a great quality kit, and the hair accessories Lexie created were very cute!  Plus, we have enough left over to make more accessories!

The final kit we tried was Deluxe Glitter Art.  Lexie claimed it was the "best glitter stuff ever!"

This kit has over 80 pieces to create trinket boxes, greeting cards, and gift tags.  It included 3 trinket boxes, gift tags, greeting cards and envelopes, glitter, glitter gel, rhinestones, stickers,  ribbon, and glue.

Lexie made all 3 trinket boxes, a birthday card, and a gift tag. She loved using the glitter gel pens, sprinkling glitter over the gel, and putting the rhinestone stickers on her trinket box!

She has a plenty of supplies left over to make more greeting cards and gift tags!  She was so proud of her glitter creations!

It was such a fun afternoon of crafting with my sweet girl!  She had a great time, and couldn't wait to show off everything she made.

I was extremely impressed with the quality of the Creativity for Kids kits!  I loved how the kits included everything you needed.   These kits give kids the chance to use their imaginations.  There are endless possibilities when it comes to creating a unique craft.   Not only was it fun for Lexie, but it was fun for me, too!  These kits are definitely the best craft kits we've ever tried!

Check out the Creativity for Kids website!  I was amazed at how many craft kits they have! I spy some Christmas gifts!  They can also be found on facebook and twitter.

I am thrilled to be able to share these great products with one of my readers!  One lucky winner will receive the Deluxe Glitter Art kit AND the Beach Buddies Shell Crafts kit!
