Aaaargh!

On Saturday, we attended a birthday party for my best friend's sweet boys!

Braden turned 3 on June 15th, and Tyler is turning 5 on August 15th.  It made sense to combine their birthday parties into one, big, awesome Pirate party!  I adore these two boys!

It was such a fun party!  Jocie and Tom went all out with the decorations, and everybody had a great time!

Of course, the hit of the party was the massive bounce house in the backyard!  Lily even gave it a shot!

Dylan was more than happy to pretend to be a pirate, but also took a break to play with his sisters.

The boys got so many great gifts.  Braden was too cute, and shouted out an exuberant thank you after each gift he opened!

Lily found the gift unwrapping boring, and decided to take a little cat nap, while I took pictures.

A few minutes did the trick.  She just sat up, crawled away, and began to play!

Finally, it was time to dig into the cute Pirate ship cake!  And, seriously, how sweet are those boys?!?

Dylan captured the boys, and collected the reward!

After presents and cake, the kids ran off to play!

Lily took another nap...

And then she slept some more while we partied on.

We had a great time at the Pirate party with our wonderful friends!  We are so lucky to have them in our lives!

  1. I'm jealous of Lily's flexibility in her sleeping habitats!!! Ha! So freaking adorable. My man ONLY sleeps in his crib or on a carrier on Mama... did I mention he's 24lbs?! ;)

That party looks like it was super fun - makes me excited to throw a pirate party in just over a week.

  3. I had to laugh, because your "Aaaargh" title made me think that you were going to rant about something, rather than show super cute pics of a pirate party! ;-)
