Spray Park

We had a really fun time today, at a local spray park, with our friends!

Our blogger/twitter group of moms started meeting up late last year, and it's amazing how much our babies have changed.  When we met, they were all so tiny.  Now?  The babies are walking! I really enjoy spending time with these ladies, and watching our babies (and big kids!) interact!

It was the perfect day to go to a spray park, considering the temperature was in the nineties! Luckily, we went during the late morning/early afternoon, before the temperature neared 100!

Once we arrived, the kids decided to eat some snacks while we reapplied sunscreen.

Lily wasted no time...she grabbed some snacks and took off!

The kids rushed off to play in the water!

Finally, the rest of our friends arrived, and we all sat down for lunch.

The fun continued after lunch.  The big kids  split their time between the spray park and the playground, while us moms chased the babies!  Don't let Lily's crying face fool you!  She actually loved the water, and only cried that one time!

The cuteness factor of all the baby girls in one place was through the roof!

After a few hours, it was evident that the babies needed to nap, so we gathered up our things, gathered up the reluctant-to-leave big kids, said our goodbyes (until our picnic on Saturday!), and headed home!

It was a great outing with great friends!

365 Project: Week 25

{JUNE 17th}

Father's Day.  Not the best day for us.  Grant's dad was hospitalized with many health issues.  Instead of enjoying the day with his kids, Grant spent the day at the hospital.  We ordered his favorite Chinese food for takeout, and he posed for a quick picture with his kids before leaving.

Spent the day at home with my sweet little loves.

{JUNE 19th}

Spent the day babysitting.  It was so hot that day that I didn't even have the urge to cook, so we went out to eat, and had a little Target shopping trip. Once home, the kids went outside to play, Lily enjoyed her new ball, and Dylan and Lexie caught some fireflies before heading to bed.

That morning, I took pictures of my best friend's boys.  Grant's mom watched Dylan and Lexie, while we took Lily to the lab to get her blood drawn (again-third time!!!). It was quick, easy, and painless!  That evening, we went to my parent's house for dinner.  It was really hot outside, so the kids played on the slip and slide, while my dad poured water over their heads!

{JUNE 21st}

Grant was gone all day, so we spent another day with my parents.  My mom, the girls, and I went shopping, and when we came out a motorcycle stunt show was going on!  My dad ended up taking Dylan to the next showing because it was so cool!  After dinner, we headed back home.

{JUNE 22nd}

We started off our day with story time at the library, followed by a playdate at the park.   That evening, my parents watched Lily, while Grant, the kids, and I went to the Pirates/Tigers baseball game!  It was so much fun!
