Let The Christmas Fun Begin!

Today was the start of our very busy week leading up to Christmas!

This morning, I photographed Lexie's preschool Christmas party! The kids played Santa bingo, made ornaments, had a book exchange, and decorated their own cookies.

Lexie is now finished with school until January 4th! She was all wired up when we got home, and decided to play dress up!

When Dylan got home from school, we had our annual cookie decorating night. This year, I had the sense to cut out and bake the sugar cookies ahead of time! The kids did most of the cookie decorating, and the end result was sugar overload!

After the cookies were decorated, Lily woke up, so I attempted the light pictures again. They never go well, because teething baby+enticing lights=baby trying to eat the lights.

Although I wasn't there to take pictures, Dylan also had a fun day at school! Santa came to each class, and delivered a small gift to each kid!

I can't believe Christmas is less than a week away!

  1. Lexie looks so adorable in her red dress! It sounds like she had a great preschool party! How fun is it that Santa wen around to each class at Dylan's school? Charli's school did the same thing too *minus the gifts.* The annual cookie decorating sounds like fun, I cannot wait to start traditions with my kiddos!

  5. How fun! I can't believe Christmas is only a few days away too! I'm so glad that your schools are celebrating the spirit of Christmas. I love our daycare here, but they're too afraid of celebrating the holiday because they don't want to offend children of other religions. (It's disappointing...) I love the pictures of Lily with the lights--what a great idea!

  6. I love that second to last pic of Lily sucking in her cheeks. So cute.

Buddy has his Christmas party today at school, and tomorrow is then his last day. Buster's party isn't until Thursday, and my work party is tomorrow. I feel like I'm partied out.
