The Spider Saver

I will not lie. Spiders creep. me. out.

*Spider picture has been removed! Couldn't take it anymore!*

The bigger they are, the more their creepy factor goes up.

But I can't kill them. I can't even kill a fly. I just don't have it in me.

I shudder at the sight of one, and move away as quickly as possible. I shriek "like a girl" when I see one in my house. Then, I collect a cup and a piece of paper, and coax the offender into the cup, all the while threatening it if it so happens to touch me. As soon as I have it captured, I run screaming through the house, and toss the cup out the door, as far as it will go.

All that for a nasty spider that would love to bite me if given the chance. That probably crawls all over me while I sleep. Yuck.

Hello. My name is Stefanie, and I save spiders.

What the heck is wrong with me?

  1. You wouldn't be saving the ones in my house that reach about 2 inches in diameter at times. We have all kinds of creepy crawly spiders around my house that could do some serious damage. I have a huge fear of spiders, I even have night terrors because of them--eeek

  5. Ugh! I shudder at that picture. You are a better woman than me. I usually find the nearest shoe and smash it to oblivion!

  6. I CAN NOT stand any bugs that visit in the house. I'm surprised I even love to garden with my hate of bugs.

  8. I didn't put my post up about the big wolf spider I found while vacuuming in the kitchen. It was SO GROSS! And I stomped that son of a gun too! No pity from me there! If its in my house, then SIANARA! (or however you spell it lol) If they are outside, I leave them alone because I do appreciate them. But we just get waaay too many in the house! And I screamed too, and had the shivers, and kept saying icky spider etc. And Jimmy started doing the itsy bitsy spider motions every time I said spider. Hehe.

  9. Oh, spiders creep me out totally! I can spot them a mile away. I can't kill them, but it's not because I feel sorry for them, it's because I'm afraid their spidery legs are going to come out from under the tissue I'm trying to smoosh them with and get me....that, or I'm afraid of hearing or feeling the crunch of their bodies under the tissue. I always call someone to come kill them! I even had my brother-in-law drive over to my house one day to get a really large one that even gave him the creepy-crawly feeling.
